Eligibility Criteria

All nominees considered for a Gladys Elphick Award, must have been living in South Australia at the time they delivered their community service. An Aboriginal woman is defined as:

• be of Aboriginal descent

• identify as an Aboriginal person

• be accepted as Aboriginal by an Aboriginal community.

Nominees are not eligible to win the same category twice, but may be eligible for another category.

A nominee may meet more than one nomination criteria and the Gladys Elphick Awards committee may contact the nominator regarding the most relevant category for that nominee.
